While summer has given way to fall and winter, we had a bountiful wildflower season. A fall burn and planting produced hundreds of beautiful flowers. We enjoyed blue bachelor buttons, milkweed and Paula’s favorite “rose pinks”
Of special importance was the high number of milkweed plants that attract butterflies and moths, that add their own beauty.
And a few surprises.
The prairie grasses added their own special touch.
